Since October 26, 2025, a group of Buddhist monks — originally 19, now continuing strong — has been walking barefoot across America on the Walk for Peace. Starting from the Huong Dao Vipassana Bhavana Center in Fort Worth, Texas, they are covering approximately 2,300 miles through 10 states to reach Washington, D.C. by mid-February 2026.

Aloka joined the monks during an earlier peace walk in India and has become the journey's beloved symbol — spreading joy one paw-step at a time and capturing hearts worldwide with millions of social media followers.
